Tai-Chi is one of SVACE’s longest-running classes which has experienced some gradual and wonderful changes over the years. It is now led by loyal volunteers who are willing to lead, learn, and practice the Yang Style 24 Form, the 40 Form, and the Qigong warm-ups for all attendees. Bring water and comfortable footwear. Please pre-register as a minimum of 8 people is required to run the course.

A Death Cafe is a safe place where you, your family, and your friends can share stories, question reality, and hear new voices as we ponder the mystery of death and dying. Death Cafes are not grief sessions or bereavement groups, but rather interesting and inviting gatherings held around the world to increase awareness of the importance of making the most of this life as we ponder what we know about death. Everyone is welcome at this open, relaxed, spontaneous discussion. Please join us.

BIKING: GETTING HOME SAFELY

What happens if you get a flat? How do you take off your wheel? What if your chain falls off when you’re out on a ride? What should you do if your brakes are rubbing? Don’t be caught walking your bike home! The Local Gear is offering a class to teach you the skills needed to get home safe from common mishaps on a ride and how to address problems with your bike before they happen. Limit 10 people.
